Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)

Outcome indicators, baseline, targets and monitoring tools, responsible persons

Our monitoring and evaluation are an overall system framework which is integrated into our organization for full client satisfaction.

We apply a three-fold methodology of Accountability, Learning, and decision making, Accountability is for upward accountability to our clients for their upward reporting as well to the Board and donors as well as downwards to contractors for decision making, change processes or other necessary interventions.

There are three aspects of adaptation planning and implementation that we monitor closely.

Our support includes designing and implementing M&E systems, M&E system strengthening, M&E frameworks, and capacity building to ensure organizations observe accurate and up-to-date M&E practices as well as assisting organizations in identifying optimum M&E technical support. Other M&E service offerings include:

  1. Evaluation and research: impact and outcome evaluations, performance assessments, process evaluations and formative research
  2. Monitoring support: monitoring/performance frameworks, indicators and plans, data quality audits/assessments
  3. Capacity building: training and workshops, M&E systems development and support and mentoring
  4. Data visualization: database design, dashboard reporting systems and knowledge management
  5. Continuous data collection before, during and after program rollout (monitoring), as well as measuring outcomes, impact and effectiveness of programs (evaluation)
